When?

  • All dancers need to arrive thirty minutes prior to the start of the show for check-in.

  • Friday June 28th, 2024: Hercules Dress Rehearsal ONLY from TBD

  • Saturday June 29th, 2024: Times TBD

    • Classes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday will perform in the Saturday Show (Solos & Duets Included)

  • Sunday June 30th, 2024: Times TBD

    • Classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will perform in the Sunday Show (Solos & Duets Included)

A little about the show...

Our show is fully coordinated for you, including costume changes handled by our expert team of backstage parent volunteers so if they would like to perform all of their dances, they should! Recitals take place every season, usually in June and December at the end of each season (Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter). They are your dancer’s opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned all season in a professionally produced show. They are the best opportunity we can provide to Build Confidence with an on-stage experience.

In order for the shows to run smoothly and efficiently and keep them at a reasonable length, we run multiple shows. Typically each show will have a run-time that does not exceed two hours. The dances you will see have been in the works for five months or more, so this is a great accomplishment of which our dancers should be proud! We purchase costumes and rehearse until the show. During this time it is important that your dancer is present in all of their performing classes.

FOR INJURY PREVENTION PURPOSES:
A proper warm-up is key for injury prevention.
If your dancer has a rehearsal, please have them warm-up before coming to rehearsals. Dancers will not be warmed up during their recital rehearsal, with the exception of dancers en pointe.

Email esther@strongdancestudios.com to notify us of an upcoming rehearsal absence. Below we have listed examples of an unexcused absence. Please review with your dancer.
Transportation issues, parties, vacation/weekend trips, concerts, school events (Unless it will affect the student’s grade).

Missed rehearsal fee: $15.00 There will be no make-up rehearsals this season
